It’s no secret that Chicago is an epic sports town. From baseball to hockey, there’s never a shortage of games, players, or teams to talk about. If you’re a fellow sports buff, then these must-see events will need no introduction. In fact, they’re likely high on your bucket list.
Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field
You don’t have to be a sports aficionado to truly appreciate a trip to the second oldest ballpark in America, Wrigley Field. As one of the original teams in Major League Baseball, the Cubs are an iconic franchise for anyone who loves the game. Can’t get tickets? Grab a seat at Wrigleyville fixtures like Rockit Burger Bar or Murphy’s Bleachers. You’ll instantly feel the energy from their passionate fans!
Unfortunately, the Cubs we’re recently eliminated from the MLB playoffs, but it’s never too early to start looking forward to next season!
The White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field
Just in case you can’t get enough baseball, Chicago proudly boasts two championship teams that are both over a century old. The White Sox, a member of the American League, plays at the Guaranteed Rate Field, less than a 30-minute subway ride from The Hudson #WhiteSox
Chicago Blackhawks at United Centre
The NHL season is now in full swing, and the Blackhawks are ready to compete! With six Stanley Cup championships under their belt, the Hawks play at United Centre, a 10-minute Uber ride from The Hudson. #Blackhawks
Chicago Bulls at United Centre
One of the NBA’s greatest dynasties, the Bulls won six championships between 1991-98, and is the only franchise to never lose a NBA Finals series in their history. Led by Michael Jordan, arguably the greatest player of all time (especially if you ask a Chicagoan), you’ll find a tribute statue at the front of United Centre. #BullsNation
Chicago Bears at Soldier Field
Boasting nine NFL championships, including one Super Bowl, the Bears have recorded more victories than any other franchise. They also hold the NFL record for the most enshrinees in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
